To mark their impressive 120th anniversary, Hilliard generously invited members of the Filterserve team to the United States to celebrate the milestone and take part in valuable training sessions. Representing Filterserve were Director Stephen Heamus, Office Manager Russell Bevin, and France-based Sales Executive Olivier Tourret, who all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A Trip Well Spent
The team received a warm welcome from Spencer, Hilliard’s Regional Sales Manager, who had previously visited Filterserve’s Walsall offices in July. This visit to the States included in-depth training that offered new insights into Hilliard’s filtration applications and the many sectors where their products are used. The sessions also provided the opportunity to connect with distributors from around the world, with more than one hundred attendees joining the event.
The celebration marked both 120 years of Hilliard’s innovation and 100 years of Hilco, the company’s filtration division. Filterserve received a commemorative coin to mark the occasion, and several success stories were shared by international distributors. The trip also included visits to Hilliard’s plants, offering a deeper understanding of their operations and expertise.
Day one of training was held at the Wings of Eagles Discovery Centre, a fascinating museum dedicated to preserving aviation history. The centre houses an impressive collection of vintage military aircraft, exhibits, and memorabilia, offering visitors a glimpse into the evolution of flight and the stories of those who shaped it. It was an inspiring setting for learning and collaboration.
Of course, it was not all business. Spencer ensured the team made the most of their visit with evenings out for food, drinks, and networking, making the trip both productive and enjoyable.
