A Warm Black Country Welcome
Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Spencer Passmore, Hilliard’s Regional Sales Manager, at our offices in Walsall. Although he has worked closely with the Filterserve team for years, this was his first time meeting them in person. It was a brilliant opportunity to meet face to face, carry out some in-depth training and strengthen the working relationships that help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
After a productive meeting with our sales team, Director Stephen and Office Manager Russ gave Spencer a proper yam-yam welcome with a visit to the Black Country Living Museum. Surrounded by industrial heritage, brickwork and a few cobbled streets, it gave him a flavour of the region’s rich history and strong character. By the end of the day, we reckon he was halfway to becoming an honorary local.
The following day, Stephen and Spencer headed out on the road to visit some of our customers. These site visits gave Spencer valuable insights into how our clients are using Hilliard products in the field, and helped reinforce the importance of having close collaboration between manufacturer, distributor and end user.
